John de Mols zender Tien lijkt niet langer zelfstandig verder te gaan met het keiharde gevecht om de kijkersgunst. De samenwerking tussen RTL Nederland (RTL 4, 5 en 7) en Tien is op een haar na rond.

Mediatycoon John de Mol gaat meebieden op Endemol. Dat doet hij samen met het Italiaanse bedrijf Mediaset, dat in handen is van de Italiaanse ex-premier Silvio Berlusconi. De bestuursvoorzitter Giuliano Andreani van Mediaset heeft dat woensdag gezegd.
