Unflinching Triumph, a recently released movie, explores the little-known subculture of Professional Staredown contests (aka Staring Contests).
The great thing about conferences is the rediscovery of things you might have forgotten. Erwin from These Days mentioned this Unflinching Triumph today to illustrate the power of storytelling in marketing (or was it marketing in storytelling). I saw most of this movie a few months ago, but I never knew it was an ad for Red Bull. Stunning!

Christmas Eve. On his way to his in-laws with his family, Frank Harrington decides to try a shortcut, for the first time in 20 years. It turns out to be the biggest mistake of his life.
Watching this movie right now… I love it when horror and humor find their way in one plot. Excellent job by Ray Wise btw.
